Delight In Creativity!
Pages
Great to see you all!
Nice to meet you!
Fig & Ruby
My name is Colleen, nice to meet you! I have 6 lovely children and a super great husband. I love thinking, dreaming, planning and executing everything about parties. I love creating cakes and hairbows and invitations. I am inspired continually by all the fantastic photos and blog posts out there. Maybe, just maybe something I post will inspire you!
I serve and love and worship the most creative loving God who knows me by name and has blessed me with a desire to create and plan and encourage my friends to do the same. I truly delight in creativity and I want to share that with you!
Want to get a hold of me?
That would be great!

Having A Party?
Having a Party?
Here are a few questions to get the ball rolling…
• Do you have a theme?
o color scheme; combination of colors or perhaps one favorite
color…
o Over-all feel; romantic, funky, traditional, festive
o pirate, Mexican fiesta, rock and roll, chocolate decadence…
• How many people are you planning on having?
• What are the “person of honor’s” likes, dislikes?
• Where will this event be held?
• -Will there be a meal? If so, what kind?
o -buffet
o -appies
o -coffee and deserts
o -brunch
• Do you have a budget in mind?
• Looking at the items below, number them in order of priority for you.
(1 being the highest priority)
o -decorations
o -cake
o -food
o entertainment
o favors
o invitations
Once you have prioritized the items above, pencil in a
budget for each. Assigning an amount to each area in order of priority will
help you get an idea for what you have to work with and keep you on track
so that you do not compromise on the details that are most important.

These are so pretty and delicate, perfect for a winter party...I can't tell, did you use ribbon or card stock for the middle piece?
