A Birdy Painting
A few weeks ago Cait and I got to spend a week with our best friends. You can read more about that fabulous trip here. I just wanted to share one of the projects that we finished while I was there. Gretch is due with her second daughter in August. We both fell in love with a piece of art from Pottery barn kids and I suggested that we make a version of it ourselves. We were both happy with the results!
So precious! Won't this look fantastic in a little baby girl room?
There's me...deep in concentration!
First some paint...
...then some paper...
...and finally some pearls and beads!
Many times I find diving in is the most difficult part of creating something. I encourage you to go for it. Try to make something that inspires you. Don't think about the "I'm not sure it will turn out" part, just enjoy the process and work at it till you are thrilled with the results!
